Hey all,
In this frame I would like to express about my Deepavali day experience with all of you..
Since I am also an earning member in my family, my father and myself had already planned to have a quality time at this Deepavali on 26th October, 2011. Also this was the first Diwali for my son-in-law (Arjun aka kannan) (my sister's son). Therefore, dad had already warned me that this time there wouldn't be any crackers to have fun with.
Though a bit sad I nodded my head and showed my acceptance since the forbearance was for a good cause. I had contributed some amounts and dad had put in the lion's share for the purchase of deepavali lighting stuff, different varieties lighting's to decorate home & sweets & snacks to have for ourselves & share with neighborhood and guests.
The day time was utilized to serve the guests & meeting the neighborhood members. On the Diwali eve, all my family members prayed together at the prayer room, had some snacks later, and went in our own ways to decorate the house with lighting's, and played with kannan for a lot of time. Later I went outside to meet my friends and relatives near by so as to see how they were doing & and a bit of blasts there. LOL...
Well, the day went like that with lot of happiness & prosperity.. I would like to take this opportunity to thank God for always protecting my family & my loved ones...
Guess I will wind up my words for the time being....
